PLAYER READINESS

Be ready before
you reach out.

A useful recruiting introduction is specific, honest and easy to evaluate. Start with these essentials.

For younger players, involve a parent or guardian and avoid posting private contact, identity or travel details publicly.

Your player checklist

  • Define your goal. Identify your preferred playing level, location, position and timeline.
  • Build an accurate soccer résumé. Include playing experience, current team, position and relevant achievements you can support.
  • Prepare useful video. Make yourself easy to identify, label match context and include game footage alongside highlights.
  • Check the fit. Compare academic requirements where relevant, eligibility, costs and development priorities.
  • Plan a focused introduction. Explain why the program fits and what you would like the coach to review.

OFFICIAL PROGRAM RESEARCH

Start with official sources.

Use these directories and guidance to research your options. They are not confirmed openings or endorsements.

College programs

NCAA school directory →

Find institutions by state and sport, then confirm soccer offerings on the official program website.

NAIA school map →

Explore NAIA institutions. Not every school sponsors soccer.

Clubs and local pathways

MLS club directory →

Find official club, academy and development information. A club listing does not confirm trial availability.

US Youth Soccer state associations →

Find local resources through state associations. This is not a directory of every club.

Understand NCAA recruiting guidance →

Recruiting rules vary by division, sport and circumstance. Check the guidance that applies to your situation.

RESEARCH WITH CONFIDENCE

Check the details.
Then take the next step.

The resource library includes camp, trial and development links collected over time. Some listings refer to past seasons and should not be treated as current openings.

Before you apply or pay

  • Confirm the current date and application deadline on the organizer’s official website.
  • Check age, playing-level and other eligibility requirements.
  • Understand the total cost, cancellation policy and what is actually included.
  • Verify the organizer and contact details. No listing guarantees selection, a contract or a scholarship.
